Acrylic Signs
Acrylic Signs Overview
Acrylic signs are a premium option for interior spaces where clarity, durability, and appearance matter. With a glass-like surface and lightweight structure, they create a polished look without the weight and fragility of glass.
They are commonly used in offices, retail stores, lobbies, and exhibitions where presentation quality matters. Compared with foam board signs, acrylic offers a more refined and lasting display, while PVC board signs or corrugated plastic signs may be better for outdoor or heavy-duty use.
Choosing the right material, thickness, and mounting method helps improve both visual impact and long-term performance.
Common Use Cases for Acrylic Signs
Acrylic signs are often used for office nameplates, room signs, wayfinding systems, retail branding, welcome boards, and lobby displays. Their clean finish makes them especially suitable for spaces that need a professional presentation.
Front vs. Second Surface Printing Explained
Front printing places the design directly on the face of the acrylic for a bold visual result. Second surface printing places the artwork on the back of clear acrylic, creating a smooth, glossy finish with added protection.
Choosing the Right Material and Finish
Clear acrylic delivers a transparent, glass-like look that works well for logos and modern branding. Frosted acrylic offers a softer matte appearance that helps reduce glare and improve readability.
Thickness, Mounting, and Installation Options
Different thickness and mounting options affect both appearance and stability. Thinner acrylic works well for standard wall signs, while thicker panels and standoff mounting create a more dimensional, premium look. We also offer accessories to help support a secure and professional setup.
Custom Sizes, Shapes, and Design Flexibility
Acrylic signs can be produced in standard shapes or custom-cut formats to match different branding needs. This flexibility makes them suitable for both simple informational signage and more distinctive display designs.
For best results, keep layouts simple with clear hierarchy and strong contrast. Focus on essential details to ensure readability and long-term visibility. If needed, our Design Services can help refine your layout and prepare print-ready files.
Design fees can be credited back upon order to help manage costs.
